Chapter 2 - Charging and Operation

This chapter will help the operator learn step-by-step how to charge the coating pan with tablets, perform the startup sequence, complete the various in-process weight and visual checks as well as how to switch from color to clear solution to close out the batch.

Chapter 3 - Discharging the Coater

This chapter will help the operator learn step-by-step how to discharge the product from coating pan.

Chapter 4 - Troubleshooting

This chapter will help the operator learn step-by-step how to troubleshoot various tablet coating problems like tablet-to-tablet color variation, Filling-in, Core Erosion, Logo Bridging or Filling, Picking and Sticking, Erosion or Edge Chipping and Bearding.

Chapter 5 - Spray Gun System

This chapter will help the operator learn to correctly identify the spray gun components, controls and ancillary equipment associated with the spray gun assembly of the Thomas Engineering Accela-Cota 60 inch coating pan.

Chapter 6 - Spray Guns: Assembly and Setup

This chapter will help the operator learn step-by-step how to assemble, install and setup the spray guns on the gun arm assembly.
