Simulation-based learning is nearly 5 times more effective than the traditional classroom setting. Users of PAI’s Productivity Improvement Tools will have a stronger working knowledge of the equipment when they arrive on the plant floor for on-the-job training. Employees who train at their own pace in their own environment learn—and retain—far more than those who rely on manuals, classroom training, or training from another employee. Tests have shown that people trained through simulation retain up to 90% of what they learned.

The tools use a proprietary interactive 3D virtual machine environment to clearly visualize functional principles, to safely and effectively train operators and maintenance technicians on the best practice standard operating procedures and to provide an interactive line-side job aid to give ready-guidance at the machine.
